Directions to Ripley Park from  Melbourne (Westgate Bridge)     Take Westgate Bridge and the Princes Freeway to Werribee.  Turn off at Werribee. Go through Werribee staying on the main road. (It should take less than 10  minutes to go through town).  Then you will go through a sweeping turn to the right (there is a Hungry Jack's on the corner to the right), then over the railroad tracks at a level crossing at an intersection with traffic lights.  Turn left and you will shortly come to a roundabout (one block further on).  (There is a petrol station on the corner to the right.) 

Take Bulban's Road (which is on the left).  The Werribee Racecourse will then be on your right hand side, and the railway tracks on your left. Stay on Bulban's Road.  (Stay on the made roads at all times between Werribee and Ripley Park, and do not be tempted by various dirt tracks which go off in exciting looking directions!) Bulban's Road ends at a T-intersection (Edgar's Road, 13 km after the racecourse.).  Turn right and go to the next intersection (Kirks Bridge Road).  Turn left at this intersection.  (There is a blue sign pointing to the left, indicating the way to the Fairy Park. The other two options are dirt tracks, which, remember, you're not allowed to take.) 

The next T-intersection is the Little River-Bacchus Marsh Road.  Turn right at this intersection.  (The sign should say Little River 10 kms and Lara 16 kms to the left, and Bacchus Marsh to the right.  This sign is a popular one with local vandals. All of it may or may not be in place.  There is also a blue sign indicating the Fairy Park is to the right.)  Again it will end eventually at a T-intersection (the Bacchus Marsh-Geelong Road).  A sign will indicate Lara and Geelong to the left.  (The road becomes a dirt track the other side of the highway - and you know the rules here.)  Turn right.  (Don't worry—you're almost there!)  Go 1.6 kms to Gilmore's Road, which is signposted and runs off to the left only from the main road.  Go one kilometre down Gilmore's Road to Ripley Park, which is on the right hand side, with trees around the front area.

Directions to Ripley Park B&B from Geelong:

Take the Bacchus Marsh-Geelong Road (goes past Corio Shopping Centre and the Police Headquarters) towards Bacchus Marsh. Travel past the prison, etc. for approximately 20 minutes from Corio. You will pass Granite Road and a smaller unmade road called Bufton's Road. Gilmore's Road is signposted and is a turn to the LEFT only.  There is also a blue fingerboard sign that says B&B. There is a property with trees along the front on the right hand side of the Bacchus Marsh -Geelong Road (Balsora Park Agistment). Turn left and travel for 1 km. Ripley Park is on the right hand side. There are lot of trees around the property, and the front gate is signposted Ripley Park Bed & Breakfast.   If you aren't sure where you are - give us a ring. (03) 5369 4222

Directions to Ripley Park from Bacchus Marsh (Western Highway from Melbourne):

Take the first exit to Bacchus Marsh - travel through the Avenue of Honour (large elms on each side). There will be a small sign ð indicating a turn to Geelong to the left. There are orchards and a machinery hire business on the right-hand side of the Avenue of Honour and a brick building with grounds (actually it's the abattoir) on the left just where the turn is - watch for it because it can be obscured by trees if you're not keeping an eye out! Turn left, the road will wind up a hill high over the railway tracks to a T intersection. This is the Bacchus Marsh - Geelong Road. Turn to the left.

It is about a 15 minute drive from this point. You will pass various roads heading to Melton, Werribee, and past Balliang East where there is a school on the left hand side of the road. You will pass Birds Road. You cross over a small bridge over the Little River which is signposted. The next turn to the right will be Gilmore's Road.  There is also a blue fingerboard sign that says B&B.  Ripley Park is 1 km. down on the right hand side.  Our telephone number is (03) 5369 4222
